To allow for maximum confusion, today being Friday, I completed Thursday's run this morning.......
4th run of the week and we've not even reached the weekend! The plan for today was five sets of 3:2 fast:easy splits, bookended by some easy time for warm up and warm down. With time being a key factor, I chopped the easy sections to 5 minutes at the start and about 4 at the end to take me home.
Despite it raining heavily last night, the skies had cleared, meaning for not ideal conditions underfoot. It is day's like this that baselayers come into their own, allowing me to stay warm without the need for lots of unbreathable layers.
I was happy with my pace on all five fast intervals. Wasn't perfect, but enough of a push to be more than satisfied with the efforts. After a lung-busting game of squash yesterday it was the perfect follow up.
With the Oak Hill parkrun tomorrow it appears that apart from a 60 minute easy run I have caught up with my schedule. A good week so far.
Running & eating. And running for eating. And eating because of running. And running due to eating....
